Chetana Sangeet Natya Academy

Chetana Sangeet Natya Academy is the brain child of Dr. Fr. Paul Poovathingal commenced for research and training in performing arts. On 2004, July 3rd it was blessed by Fr. Jerome Cherusserry, then Provincial, at AICUF House, Mylipadam, Thrissur, S.India. Academy was formally inaugurated by Padmabhushan Dr.K.J.Yesudas on 1" April 2005 in a function at Regional Theatre, Thrissur in the presence of His grace Varkey Cardinal Vithayathil, Major Archbishop of Syro-Malabar Church, Adv. Therambil Ramakrishnan M.L.A. - honourable Speaker of Kerala Assembly and other dignitaries. More Details

Chetana Music College

Chetana Music College is an offshoot of Chetana Sangeet Natya Academy founded by Fr. Paul Poovathingal CMI. It was officially inaugurated by Padmabhushan Dr. K. J. Yesudas on 1st April 2008 at a function at Chetana Music College Auditorium, Mylipadam, Thrissur, S.India. Inaugural function was presided by Archbishop Jacob Thoomkuzhy(Archbishop Emiretus, Thrissur). It was the actualisation of a long cherished dream of Thrichurians to have a music college in the cultural capital of the State. College is situated in the campus of Chetana Sangeet Natya Academy at AICUF house, Mylipadam, Thrissur.

Chetana National Institute of Vocology

Chetana National Institute of Vocology was inaugurated by Padmabhushan Dr. K.J Yesudas, legendry musician, on 1st April 2005. This is an institution under the umbrella of Chetana Group of Institutions managed by CMI fathers of Devamatha Province, Thrissur. This pioneer institution in the field of Vocology in India was founded by Fr. Dr. Paul Poovathingal CMI, the first Vocologist in India trained by Dr.Prof. Ingo Titze, Father of Vocology at National centre for voice and speech, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA and Dr. Prof. Jeanie Goffi, Columbia university New York.
